Jacqueline Cochran Regional Airport (TRM) provides you, the Corporate Jet owner and user, one of the finest jetports within the Southern California Region. With a runway length of 8,500 feet, 362 days of clear weather and exceptional access, you will see why some of the wealthiest people in the world choose to utilize this airport on a regular basis. As the gateway airport to the affluent Palm Springs / Coachella Valley area, TRM boasts ever-increasing usage by leading fractional jet operators, Fortune 100 corporations and golfing legends. With proximity to world-renowned golf courses, Polo clubs and the City of Palm Springs, TRM is the center of the valley.

The benefit that TRM presents to the corporate aviation community is the ability to build corporate flight centers in premium locations around the airport. TRM is fortunate to have multiple areas for the construction of large hangar complexes that would meet the needs of even the largest corporate fleet. Moreover, with two major FBOs providing all the applicable services one would expect of corporate service operators, you will be in very good hands.

TRM is located less than 20 miles from the City of Palm Springs (PSP) and 10 miles from Bermuda Dunes (BDD). An abundance of free airspace coupled with low traffic volumes enhances timely aircraft operations to any part of the country.

Maintenance opportunities

With nearly 1000 acres of prime develop able land with direct access to our

large 8,500 ft. runway, TRM can accommodate full service heavy maintenance, repairs and overhaul (MRO) facilities looking to relocate to the west coast. Sites specifically tailored to construct large-aircraft maintenance hangars are available along with development and tax credit relief incentives.

At a time when airline outsourcing is on the rise, TRM is developing an airliner short and longterm storage area that would offer potential MROs the ability to expand their business to encompass aircraft cargo conversions, line maintenance (Heavy Letter Checks), general refurbishment and aircraft deactivation / reactivation to service.

Airport Economic Advantages:

  • Foreign Trade Zone
  • Future Expansion
  • Empowerment Zone

Cargo Opportunities

TRM offers opportunity for build-to-suit cargo facilities, and a combination of uncongested routes, modern infrastructure and capable airside facilities. A natural cargo location, TRM has great access to I-10, Hwy 86 and rail facilities, which provide tremendous opportunity to develop a major intermodal transportation center. An existing air cargo developmental area and substantial available vacant land offering direct runway access, provide the ingredients needed for a successful airport development project.
